Given that continuity exists from pin to pin on a 2-way, I don't see how it wouldn't on a 3-way, unless it relies on the center card to act as a jumper between the two sides then again, I haven't found a reliable diagram of a 3-way SLI bridge. I've never attempted to use a 3-way bridge with an open connector in the middle, so I can neither confirm nor refute the above statement, but it seems that it should work electrically, based solely on the image, which shows solder joints exactly like the 2-way bridges + a 3rd set. You can verify that by taking a multimeter (or ohm meter) and reading out pin-to-pin.

I am wondering if perhaps this is the cause of my many PC problems (I can't seem to get one of my extra Harddrives to be detected either), and if so is there a solution? I've searched around but can't seem to find anything on changing a peice of Hardwares assigned resources.

For instance my Nvidia GeForce 8800 and Intel(R) 4 Series Chipset PCI Express Root Port - 2E21 are both using Memory Address 0xD0000000-0xDfffffff My Intel(R) ICH10 Family PCI Express Root Port 5 - 3A48 and Realtek RTL8168B/8111B Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) are both using I/O Port 0x0000A000-0x0000Afff And that's only to name 2 of about 19 conflicts/shares listed, there are several IRQs listed too. I brought up System Information and in the Hardware Resorces - Conflicts/Sharing part, there is listed a fair few devices that are using the same resorces as others. I have tested switching between the 2 2GB chips in this last configuration to see if it was perhaps a bad RAM chip, but they both seem to work fine. Now if I replace 1 of the 2GB chips with a 1GB chip, the problem seems to go away (or at least isn't causing any serious headaches anymore). I've checked my Motherboard details and it can support over 6GB of RAM.

Hi, I have a problem that I think is resource conflict related, I am using Windows Vista 64bit and basicly when I install 2 2GB RAM chips with 2 1GB RAM chips, my system becomes unstable, programs will freeze or crash.
